This was a passion project. The assignment was to create a brand identity for an ethnical restaurant, that had an interior design concept made by one of my school mates Olaj Petra. She choose the theme of northern mythology and culture, that is heavily based on the forces of nature and has reach cultural heritage.

I happen to have had spent a semester in Oslo while attending college as a librarian student. It was the best thing that have ever happened to me. I was the luckiest, and if I could I would do it again a thousand times. Erasmus is a wonderful opportunity people, use it if you can!

I researched the topic with excitement. Petra's concept was to give each space a feel of nature and culture, and for that she used the northing mythologies festivities. She dedicated a space for each season, so a Blood Bar, a Nordic Light VIP Room, a Spring Coffe Shop and Winter Restroom came to life.

For the logo I have used a rune like typeface as a base and formed creatures that symbolised the nordic god and goddess Frejer and Freja. Creating the pattern I channeled Scandinavian vibes.

I wanted to emphasise the roughness of these beings and the strength of natural forces. I achieved this with the use of earth tones, chopper or rust colors and black symbols and pattern.

To showcase the different rooms and activities that this establishment has to offer, I choose a card based desing, so that the user is able to see what can be done in here, and can quickly decide where he os she want's to continue on the site.

Part of the project was also to design an application, I choose to create a payment system for the customers and waiters to ease the payment process. Orders can be added and taken away quantities are easy to modify, you can navigate between customers and tables.
